Hello and Welcome to This Weeks Pre NOC Write Up of RAW. Now I Hate to Admit Last Nights Episode wanted me to hit the snooze button and slowly pass out on the keyboard or wherever more appropriate, which is absolutely horrendous considering expectations should hit the highest point in terms of massively building all feuds and not just about 4, but anyway lets just go over what happened.

As Hyped over the end of the week and into last night, AJ Lee and Brie Bella were to face Nikki and This Sundays Defending Champion Paige on the pre NOC episode. So yes this does indeed happen, but with a travesty that should turn into a legit offense as we see Paige’s entrance being skipped upon the arrival of AJ and Both Bella’s. The Bell rings and it appears at first that we are going to see Brie unload on Nikki in their first match where the two are on different sides. However, before Brie can even make an example, the cocky Bella decides to tag in Paige and head to the outside.

Nonetheless, Brie and Paige lock up, leading to Brie taking her to the ropes. Paige with a smashing kick, and she skips about, much to the frustrations of AJ. Paige sends Brie to the ropes, hanging her in the appropriate position to get her knee shots in. AJ doesnt even seem to lean her body out to allow Brie to reach closer but is offering a tag anyway, but to no avail as Paige has Brie tied in the headlock.

Brie attempts to fight it off but gets sent onto the mat. Brie soon gets punches sent Paiges way, but gets knocked back once again. Paige decimates Brie with a nasty headbutt then goes for the cover, only to get a near fall. Paige makes a mockery of AJ while placing Brie in a hold, one that Brie soon counters. This ends up with Brie getting a roll up on the Champion, but its a near fall.

After more offense, its another headlock locked on Brie, but Brie musters so much strength, as much as she can, to get out. Brie is just about to make a tag to AJ, however Nikki sneaks behind AJ and clobbers her, sending her falling to the ground. With no partner in sight, its Brie who ends up in Paige’s Finisher, the Rampaige for the match victory. Nikki takes out Brie with a Solid Rack Attack and storms out while Paige and AJ continue their skipping charade.

Later on, and totally expected, its Cameron putting all those nixed from TV reports to shame as she faces Naomi to follow up from the argument on Total Divas where Cameron was considering heading to NXT to continue her in ring improvement. For Some Reason Cameron seems to be glaring into the wrong side of the mirror, unless its identical on flip sides, but anyway, after a Recap of the New Episode of Total Divas, Cameron vs Naomi for the first time since Battleground is underway.

The Bell rings and Naomi slaps that mirror of Camerons away since shes too focused on that than the match itself. Fuming, Cameron charges after Naomi and the two end up getting in a feisty punch up, with Naomi taking her to the corner, trying to whip her, with it getting reversed. Naomi looks to use the turnbuckle to float over, but gets pushed straight to the floor while trying to balance out on the apron. Naomi eventually makes it back to the ring, only to take some kicks from Cameron.

Cameron continues dominating this match by choking Naomi against the ropes and setting her up in a successfully hit suplex. Cameron gets a split single leg drop, demands the count but seems to have botched her cover due to which side Naomi is facing…face down. Obviously a play on WWEs part to play up the “i need improvement” storyline on Cameron. Anyway she eventually has Naomi rolled over for a cover, but unlucky for her, Naomi kicks out of this one.

Cameron tries another cover, and to no avail as Naomi stays in the match. Cameron averts to a stretch submission to wear her down, and Naomi tries to fight out, only for Cameron to take her down. Cameron gets another cover on Naomi, and once again, Naomi kicks out. Cameron reverts back to the same hold, and Naomi’s moment of breakage leads to her getting tossed into the corner. Cameron flaunts and taunts, then gives Naomi a big kick before she can even decide to go up top, and tries wearing her down further with a couple of kicks.

Cameron gets a snapmare, and a dropkick, not so as Naomis head seemed to have fallen back before the move was even executed. Cameron goes for one more pin attempt, but cant keep Naomi out. Naomi sends some forearms Cameron’s way and gets whipped back to the corner. Now Naomi gets back the momentum as she hangs on the turnbuckle and tries executing a roll up. Cameron loses her balance after some moments, and ends up caught, however it seems Naomi is looking for anything other than the pinfall victory, rather a submission one. Tying her Legs around Cameron, causing her to furiously tap, Naomi wins the match.

Now heres an interesting development that came from last night, the fact that the Anti US Crew Lana and Rusev unbelievably had the Main Event Spot over the Likes of Lesnar and Cena. No Complaints there since Lana and Rusev have worked their butts off prior to and after arriving from NXT to the Main Roster. Mark Henry is out to rally the Guys and Girls of America to take a stand against the Rusev Legacy. This leads to Lana and Rusev arriving and Lana cutting the usual promo before Rusev and Mark come to blows within the ring. Despite showing sheer dominance, Rusev is soon overcome by Henry, thus the crowd are sent home pretty much happy.

(Nikki Bella and Paige vs Brie Bella and AJ Lee)

(Cameron vs Naomi)

(Mark Henry, Rusev and Lana Main Event Segment)

Thoughts On:
Divas Tag: Yes So this match did indeed build both feuds, but not in such a big way in particular for AJ and Paige as they continue the whole mind games and skipping charade. While Nikki played the usual cowardly heel role by not bombarding her sister in a relentless post match attack, and by not even getting a spot in the match, this feud easily got the more build up through this match just through the post match attack. AJ and Paige could have easily broke out into a brawl after the match or AJ and Nikki with both Bellas looking on from different points in the arena, or trying to break their respective partners in the face, and ending up in a full fledged 4 diva brawl instead, but i honestly think after all the hype, this match delivered ZERO on AJ and Paiges part, which is why im hoping Paige wins on Sunday so these two can go separate from the Bellas and conclude their own feud with hopefully more decent build up and a more relentless anti diva character for Paige, but i’ve been saying that for weeks now…

Naomi vs Cameron: The Match wasnt too Bad. I Think Cameron flourishes in the ring in terms of coming off as a natural heel and by showing personality, and yes i admit she needs more improvement, but she is better than Eva by Miles, No Disrespect to Eva because i like her but it has to be said. I Think Cameron would have benefited from being Placed in an Alignment with a Veteran like Fox, while putting Naomi with Natalya, so this allows Cameron to flourish a lot further in the ring sooner or later. But i do feel bad for Cameron in terms of the Twitter Trolls who send Tweets for her to be demoted, fired or worse when they’d only throw a fit themselves if they had it thrown at them themselves, or if they botched in the ring. Theres always room for improvement, everyone starts somewhere. Lita and Trish started from Scratch to get to where they are today, and with the Divas being trained by Sara Del Rey, theres definite chances of great improvement for those who just aren’t there yet.

Rusev & Lana Main Eventing: This is almost a big a swerve as Brie and Stephanie getting main event segments over the likes of the Top Faces and Heels of the Company, but as a fan, i couldn’t be more proud considering how far they’ve come, and the skill they brought to NXT that allowed them to be transitioned so soon. The Segment itself delivered, it shows Henry’s still got IT, and it really helps put extra build into the Match on Sunday, which im convinced Rusev will go over, whether he will interfere in the Main Event later or not.
