Women’s Championship Match Set for WWE Payback (April, 18th 2016)

During Tonights Pre Taped Episode of RAW in London, England, as part of WWEs first European Visit of the Year, it was learned that Recently Crowned WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte will defend the Championship Gold against fellow Generation Wrestler, Rival and Long Tenured Competitor Natalya at WWE Payback airing May 1st from the Allstate Arena.

The Two Combatants are no stranger to one another, having battled in a historic bout at NXT Takeover Around Two Years Ago with their legendary relations in their corner, a match that lead to the beginning of Charlotte’s Ascension in WWE as a carrier of WWE Gold as she would go on to defeat Natalya on that night to become the Second Overall NXT Women’s Champion. 2+ Years Later, the Two would go at it again, this time, over the newly christened and newly introduced WWE Women’s Championship, which the Nature Boys Daughter, Charlotte, obtained per a victory over long time rivals Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch at this years Thirty Second WrestleMania Pay Per View Extravaganza. Following the historic win, Charlotte would take credit for her own victory, while also crediting her Hall of Fame Father, Ric Flair, for her Golden Moment, which lead to Natalya standing up to the Generational Women’s Wrestler over her antics and change in persona, and with a pin over the Champion obtained tonight on RAW, Natalya is most certainly on her way to achieving her quest to force respect from the former NXT Women’s Champion as the chemistry-full opponents battle once again in the ring with the Champion who has yet to regain momentum pitting her newly won Championship on the line. Should Natalya win she will become the Second WWE Women’s Wrestler to hold the Championship, and have her first Women’s Championship Reign in WWE. As Also Revealed Tonight, Natalya will have her Uncle Bret Hart in her corner, as Ric Flair will also expectedly accompany the defending champion, renewing a long tenured rivalry.

Tune into WWE Payback on May 1st at 1am UK Time Live on the WWE Network and on Sky Sports Box Office to see which Woman Stands Tall as the Divisions Champion. Joining this eventful stand off, Long Time Rivals Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Will Also Go One on One and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns Battles AJ Styles, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the Line.
