Your Monday Post #109: Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon Contract Signing for Summerslam Match (August, 4th 2014)

Welcome All to a New Edition of Your Monday Post, including another reflective moment in womens wrestling. Mondays RAW played host to another main event contract signing for an ongoing womens feud, and this wouldnt be the first either. Paige and Charlotte took up the same opportunity last year, as did Brie Bella and the Authoritys Stephanie McMahon back in 2014.

Brie Bella, whose animosity with the Authority hit levels over the months that they subjected her now retired Husband Daniel Bryan to at the hands of unfair power play, attacks from Kane and the Latter, eventually faced up to Stephanie McMahon and the Authority over their treatment of Bryan, and after “quitting” in favor of protecting her husbands championship reign, Brie would try to work her way back into WWE by coaxing the Billion Dollar Princess into a match at Summerslam which was eventually agreed to prior to an altercation, and not the first of course as an altercation prior to had more or less forced the McMahon into the agreement itself. The weeks heading into Summerslam lead to more heated brawls, including a contract signing which didn’t end well for the Bella Twin as she not only saw Stephanie lay out her sister Nikki on the August 4th episode of RAW, but also take her out of the equation also, leaving the WWEs top power couple of Stephanie and Triple H standing tall to close that particular night.
