Billie Kay to Face the Debuting Ember Moon at NXT Takeover Back 2 Brooklyn (August, 17th 2016)

As Found out on Tonight’s episode of NXT, the Professed Femme Fatale of NXT Billie Kay, who has been racking up a number of wins since re-emerging from a Smackdown Match not many months ago, is set to face the debuting Mysterious Ember Moon at this Saturdays NXT Takeover Back 2 Brooklyn Pay Per View.

Ember, known to many as former Indy Star Athena, has had various TV Debuts nixed and instead has been recently and subtly introduced through a series of cryptic vignettes, and while two dominant forces are set to go head to head at Takeover in the form of Bayley and Asuka, putting that aside, Billie Kay, capitalizing on being featured on Smackdown months ago, has recently gone out to attempt to prove her worth with dominant victories over the likes of Liv Morgan and established Indy Star (and former TNA Knockout) Santana Garrett. Though the minuscule number of matches upon her return may not have been enough to establish her credibility, coming to the side of William Regal this past Wednesday on NXT to demand a match to increase this credibility may have worked in the Aussie’s favor, as NXTs GM went out of his way to place Billie in a match this Saturday at Brooklyn…..but against Ember Moon, who, outside of Indy knowledge, is a mystery to the NXT audience, and if intimidation isn’t enough to throw Billie off her game in just a few days time, then the in ring abilities of the mystery opposer may do exactly that. Not to mention this up and comer also has a history with Asuka, which may be reignited if the Japanese sensation furthers her dominance with another win over Bayley at the Barclays Center. Regardless, if NXT Takeover London and NXT Takeover Respect has taught us anything, its that two women’s matches have graced the card before, and massively delivered.

Tune into WWE NXT Takeover Brooklyn Live at 1am UK Time on the WWE Network this Saturday, August 20th to see this newly announced match, plus Bayley challenging Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship and Samoa Joe defending the NXT Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.
