WWE SUMMERSLAM PREDICTIONS: Carmella, Naomi and Becky Lynch vs Natalya and Alexa Bliss and Charlotte vs Sasha Banks (August, 21st 2016)
Greetings to All and Welcome to my Summerslam Predictions Post. As I Will Be Traveling to a Summerslam Viewing Party Tomorrow, I Figured I May Not have had the time to give my two cents on the two womens matches scheduled for the event tomorrow, so thought id post this a little early, and, as i said, give my two cents, so…
First we begin with a recently changed match as WWE.Com List that Alexa Bliss and Natalya MAY go up against the Babyface team of Carmella, Naomi and Becky Lynch in a Two on One Handicap Match. The Heels originally had Eva Marie at their side until her very surprising suspension from the company just days ago resulted in her being taken from the card, and considering it would usually be the heels with the numbers advantage and isolation tactics, its very confusing at this point to see why the heels should work with less numbers, but if this was the babyfaces it would be a perfect tactic to put more backing on their side. With that being said, I Do Expect Alexa and Natalya to find a partner to represent themselves as the dominant side for Smackdown, whether that would be Tamina, Emma or a surprising NXT competitor, maybe Billie Kay even, but in regards to Emma and Tamina, it is yet to be known whether they are allowed back in a WWE ring considering the two have been going through injury therapy. Regardless Im Still going with Alexa Bliss, Natalya and ??? to get the win.
Moving to the The Major Women’s Match of the show, a match that has been discussed since even before Summerslam came around, Sasha Banks defends her recently won WWE Women’s Championship against the former champion Charlotte. Banks win came the night after Battleground, when herself and temporary partner Bayley overcame the then title holder and her protege Dana Brooke in a Tag Team Effort. Since obtaining the accolade that is the Women’s Championship, and the record of being the 2nd Overall Women’s Champion, Banks has faced the former champions frustrations, and a week later a surprise mixed tag allowed Charlotte to prove possible contention by pinning the self proclaimed “Bo$$”. However Sasha quickly overturned things not too long later, defeating the Genetically Superior Competitors Comrade Dana Brooke in order to assure that the stipulation that the loss for Dana would mean no way of assisting Charlotte at Summerslam was effective. Through this win, Sasha has indeed made it possible to ban Brooke from ringside, throwing off her possible shenanigans once again, and wired this match down to a one on one effort. Its evident that this will play out like Nikki’s rematch clause against Charlotte last year, attempting to go after the championship again but overall succumbing to the title holder, thus i expect Sasha Banks will retain and move on to Nia Jax, while Dana Brooke is left to feel and take in all of Charlotte’s anger in the weeks ahead at facing defeat again.
Tune into WWE Summerslam Tomorrow Night at 1am UK Time Live on the WWE Network and Sky Sports Box Office to see who the dominant females are in the WWE as these said matches take place. Plus Seth Rollins and Finn Balor clash to crown RAWs (and WWE’s) first ever Universal Champion and Dean Ambrose defends the WWE Championship against “The Showoff” Dolph Ziggler.
