Charlotte to Defend the RAW Womens Title Against Bayley at the Royal Rumble (January, 3rd 2017)

As Found out this Monday on RAW, Former NXT Women’s Champions will collide as Bayley challenges History Making RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte for the Brands Women’s Title at the Royal Rumble Pay Per View. The Match marks as Charlotte’s first women’s title defense since winning the gold for a record setting 4th time at WWEs Final Pay Per View event of 2016, WWE Roadblock, going over Sasha Banks in an intense 30 Minute Iron Man Match.

Prior to that said match and following, Bayley, a former NXT Women’s Champion like Charlotte, has earned many pinfall victories over her, a streak not forgotten as Bayley took it upon herself to reference the such victories a day clear of Charlotte’s RAW Title Win, furthermore declaring a new rivalry on the battle-lines between them per Sasha Banks being unable to evoke a rematch clause due to her defeat. Bayley went on to defeat Charlotte in their first in ring challenge since Roadblock, but the cunning work of the Professed “Queen” of the WWE and her attorneys forced Stephanie McMahon to overrule such a record, not only that but not an action was taken suspiciously on the authoritarian side when Dana Brooke was inserted into a second singles showdown between the NXT Alumni as a Guest Referee, aiding Charlotte when needed most with a fast count. However, Stephanie’s newest ruling of pitting her much detested brand roster member against Nia Jax appeared to go against her when the return of Bayleys Opponent, Nia’s newest rival Sasha Banks lead to Bayley overpowering Nia with her signature finish to earn her championship contendership status, thus is now officially challenging Charlotte at the Royal Rumble.

WWEs First Pay Per View of 2017, the traditional year opening Royal Rumble, airs Live at 1am UK Time on January 29th 2017 on the WWE Network and on Sky Sports Box Office. Other Matches included are the traditional 30 man Royal Rumble, where the winner heads to the main event of WrestleMania 33, AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship against John Cena plus many more.
