WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER PREDICTIONS: Becky Lynch vs Mickie James, Natalya vs Nikki Bella and Naomi vs Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Womens Championship (February, 12th 2017)
Its PPV Sunday which also means the day of the last Smackdown Pay Per View before the 33rd WrestleMania, and a surely vicious one also as the superstars of the rivaling Blue Brand step inside the Elimination Chamber, which returns after just over a year of inactivity. While the women wont be stepping inside this painful updated structure, history is already made on tonight’s card as three women’s matches grace the main PPV Card. Nikki Bella faces her total diva co star turned heated rival Natalya, Becky Lynch clashes with Mickie James in the newly turned heels first singles match back on the main roster, and Naomi challenges Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. With that said, its time for me to round down on where these matches go and who the victorious women’s competitors are by the end of tonight’s event.
….Beginning with the first heated women’s clash mentioned in the title, as Becky Lynch faces the recently returned WWE in ring veteran and newly heel Mickie James in the former women’s champions first singles match back on the main roster. While Becky needs momentum considering recent losses and recent inability to recapture her Smackdown Women’s Title, the “Reinvention” of Mickie James will most likely introduce a more vicious Mickie than what we’ve seen in a WWE ring, and to reintroduce to all the competitor that was a focal part in the particular era 2010 and prior, and is Mickie sure to take a loss? I Wouldn’t think so, so my bet on the victor here goes to Mickie.
Next is a Match that received a pretty neat video package on the pre show currently airing, the feud between Nikki Bella and fellow Divas Champion Natalya. Based on the fact Nikki needs to fight back against the psychological warfare and the belief she will be featured in some way at WrestleMania, my pick to win is easily Nikki Bella.
Lastly is the Smackdown Women’s Championship showdown that has many talking, as Naomi challenges Alexa Bliss for the Blue Brands Women’s Centric Title. The reason there’s a lot of talk is due to Naomi being overdue a championship run she was rumored to be slated to get at Elimination Chamber onwards two years ago until nixed, and because a win for Naomi, while deserved, may crush the credibility and possible push of Alexa Bliss, who has been the focal full package of the particular women’s division upon arrival. Either way, unless WWE are having Naomi troll deliberately by not delivering her a WrestleMania spot as she so loved, i believe both will share the same ring hopefully at WrestleMania, but while both deserve to win, i expect Alexa to retain tonight, and for Tamina (if not swerving and assisting Nattie) to either be involved in Naomi’s possible ascension back into the title picture later, either as help or as an obstacle.
