Today, in an announcement also posted on WWE’s official website, Long Tenured WWE Womens Superstar Rosa Mendes Announced her Retirement from the WWE. The Former Total Divas Cast Member took to her Official Instagram Account to expand on her decision to retire, last appearing in a WWE ring in April 2015.

Today is Jordan's first birthday and it's also the day that I am announcing my retirement from the WWE. As I write these words I have tears in my eyes because of the love I have for my WWE family, and especially for the WWE universe. For the last 10 years, WWE was my life, my world and my family. I was Rosa Mendes. Now I am Milena Roucka, Jordan's mother, a soon to be wife and a hard working entrepreneur. For years I have been fortunate to put smiles on people's faces worldwide, performed for hundreds of thousands of fans and lived off of the adrenaline from the WWE audience. Today, I have this beautiful baby girl, @realjordanschubenski, who looks at me with so much love, the purest of love. There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for her. I'm with the man of my dreams, who supports me and loves me unconditionally, @bobbyschubenski, and I'm running a successful business, @totallyfitmama with my best friend, @fitmamacourt. I once dreamed of becoming a WWE Champion. Now my dream is to be the best mother I can be, to make the man I love happy and proud, and to really change people's lives with @totallyfitmama. I have finally found happiness but it took years and many tears to find the life I have now. It took courage and strength to make the positive changes that I have made to get to where I am. I know in my heart that everyone can find happiness the way I did. I finally took care of myself which gave me the strength to take care of the people I love the most. @bobbyschubenski you are my love, my inspiration. Thank you for giving me the strength to be the best woman I can be. @chantic, thank you for always being there for me. You're more than just my sister, you're my other half. Mom and Tata, thank you for listening and giving me the best advice. You were always there 24/7 and I thank you for supporting me throughout my career in the WWE, and not telling me to quit when I was hurt or down. Terri and Bob, thank you for being the best future in-laws a woman could ever have. You have treated me like a daughter from day one and I love you both so much. @renapaulos, we are soul sisters for life➡️ continue to next post

Rosa’s Travel Partner and former Tag Team Partner, Current Smackdown Womens Superstar Natalya Reacted to the News of her Longtime Co Workers Retirement.

Rosa’s career in the WWE began in 2008 when she worked at first as a plant during then WWE Women’s Superstar Beth Phoenix’s matches, eventually becoming an assist to Phoenix and her on screen partner Santino Marella during the Glamazon’s feud with fellow WWE Alumni Melina. The Alignment ended quietly and she then would be sent to the ECW Brand as a manager to then heel Zack Ryder, leading to her having many kayfabe altercations with then ECW General Manager Tiffany (Taryn Terrell).
In 2011 Rosa gained her most prominent role as the manager of Primo and Epico (Currently working under the Shining Stars Guise) which lead to the pairing winning the WWE Tag Team Championships. However, the duo eventually lost the titles and began a losing streak and in 2013 she would return to Television again as the Miz’s valet during the multi time IC Champions feud with Fandango, though this feud was also quickly cancelled.
She quickly reverted back to a heel, joining the fellow heels, including AJ Lee, to target the Total Divas, which lead to the villainous team losing a multi woman tag team match at Survivor Series later that year. Rosa then competed in her first Divas Championship Match on PPV in 2014 at WrestleMania that year, dubbed the “Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational” which lead to every female wrestler on the roster competing against the then Divas Champion AJ Lee, though Lee came out of that match triumphant.
Rosa would then go on to assist her fellow heels later in the year during Brie’s momentous feud with Stephanie McMahon, assisting in punishing Brie’s sister Nikki Bella for the Heel Authority Member.
In September, during Rosa’s transition into a Total Divas Star, she would be made into a protege for Natalya, looking to expand her in ring capabilities. This lead to herself and the Queen of Harts feuding with Summer Rae and Layla as Rosa looked to defeat the pairing to expose herself as a wrestler. In November, Rosa would gain another opportunity as Fandangos next valet, though this eventually dissolved within a few months, leading to Rosa aligning with the newly heel Adam Rose, which would be her final TV managerial role before her pregnancy announcement in August 2015 lead to her also dropping her newly presented role as Smackdowns Correspondent.
Following Pregnancy, Rosa continued work on her Totally Fit Mama Brand during her motherly duties, and continues to do so. Rosa becomes the second women’s superstar to retire in the past year, Layla being the first.

Check out Rosa’s Last Televised Match with the WWE above. I Wish Rosa all the best with her future prospects and endeavors.
