WWE FAST LANE PREDICTIONS: Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax and Bayley vs Charlotte for the RAW Womens Championship (March, 5th 2017)
Tonight is the final pit stop for the WWE and its RAW roster Pay Per View Wise as WWE Presents WWE Fast Lane, the final RAW branded Pay Per View before WrestleMania 33 comes to NXT Superstar Town aka Orlando, Flordia. The Fast Lane Pay Per View that replaced the once dual brand Elimination Chamber plays host to clashes between various rivalries before the oncoming WrestleMania extravaganza, and featured tonight are not one but two women’s matches. Sasha Banks faces Nia Jax in their second ever clash in WWE History and another Royal Rumble Rematch looms as Bayley and Charlotte clash once again, only this time its Charlotte fighting for her recently lost Women’s Championship, now in the hands of “The Hugger” and fellow NXT Alumni. With that all said, im here to narrow down where i think each match is heading and who the likely victors are, so without further ado…
So I Begin with the match that i feel is inevitable to come before the Women’s Championship match on tonight’s Pay Per View Card, the second and possibly final installment in the rivalry of Nia Jax and the former RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. It could go to double count-out, leading to both women brawling to close then the feud being relighted as they take their animosity into the later women’s championship match to cause another no contest, but its WWE and its rare two angles are executed the same way in one night. Therefore, im going with the idea that Nia wins tonight.
Next and Lastly is a rematch from the Royal Rumble, with a slight difference as this time its Bayley walking into a Pay Per View with the RAW Women’s Championship that she captured from the now contender Charlotte back in Vegas only weeks ago, with a dubbed controversial assist from Sasha Banks. Following up from my prediction for Nia vs Sasha Part 2, i expect that feud to play a part in this women’s title match, and boths interference’s, whether it causes a miscue or heel turn from Sasha Banks, will lead to no result and Bayley retaining the title because of it without pinning Charlotte and breaking her well known streak. This also sets up for Nia to leave all of them laying perhaps and setting up the rumored WrestleMania four way women’s title showdown. If they want to avoid the inevitable belief that Charlotte is continuing her streak at another talents expense tonight, creating more fuel for her matching her fathers title reigns, then this is one of the ways to go.
WWE Fast Lane comes to you Live at 1am UK Time (only a few hours away) on the WWE Network and on Sky Box Office, featuring the two women’s matches plus Jack Gallagher vs Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship, Sami Zayn vs Samoa Joe and more.
