Alexa Bliss to Defend the Smackdown Womens Title Against “Available” Members of the Smackdown Womens Division at WrestleMania 33 (March, 8th 2017)

Just as this weeks RAW did with cementing their Women’s Divisions plans for WrestleMania 33, the same was affirmed for the Women of Smackdown this week per the actions of the Brands General Manager Daniel Bryan, who dropped a bombshell on a joyous and boastful record breaking Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, by announcing she will defend her recently won championship title against all “available” members of the Smackdown Women’s Roster at WrestleMania in Orlando.

Bliss became a 2x Smackdown Women’s Champion, the first ever, by defeating Becky Lynch only 2 weeks after the brands Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, which saw her first reign end at the hands of Naomi, who vacated the title due to sudden injury, leading to the booked match between Bliss and also former champion Becky Lynch. Alexa’s dominance over the division has also come through the assistance of a newly villainous returned veteran Mickie James, who shockingly severed her ties with Bliss following the pair competing in a tag team match, disgruntled at Alexa not offering a shot at her at WrestleMania. Per Daniel Bryan’s declaration, Alexa Bliss will go up against the whole Smackdown Women’s Roster, including Natalya, Mickie James, Becky and Carmella, and while it hasn’t been expanded on, there may be possible extra additions into the match in the form of Eva Marie, who teased a return this week on Instagram, Tamina who returned from Injury by competing at a Smackdown Live Event recently, Asuka, who is working Smackdown Live events prior to WrestleMania (which is as said in Orlando, the home base of NXT) and Naomi, who is currently rehabbing from injury to try cement a place at WrestleMania to regain her championship in front of her hometown. Speaking of Naomi, she recently commented on her possible status for the Pay Per View via Twitter…

See Who Takes Home the Blue Brands Gold and what possible surprises are in store for the Smackdown Womens Division as WrestleMania 33 comes to you Live on the WWE Network and on Sky Sports Box Office on Sunday April 2nd/Mon April 3rd at 1am UK Time.
