Triple Threat Match for the Womens Championship Set for WrestleMania 33 (March, 7th 2017)

As Found Out on This Weeks episode of Monday Night RAW, following up from this Past Weekends Fast Lane Pay Per View, the RAW Women’s Championship Match for this Years WrestleMania Pay Per View has been set in the form of a Triple Threat Match as The Reigning Champion Bayley defends against her Common Foe Charlotte and former NXT Rival turned current supporter Sasha Banks. The Match marks as the second year in the row that a Women’s Triple Threat has Taken Place at WrestleMania 33, and the PPV marks as the first time that two women’s related championships are being defended on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

While Charlotte’s place in the match was cemented near instantly due to her rematch clause, Banks had to certify her own place in the match as suggested by Stephanie McMahon despite visible conflict between herself and Mick Foley over the match itself. The Principal Owner of the WWE would see if Banks could worm her way into the match by defeating her own friend who she has helped in recent weeks, to controversial heights, Bayley, to which she did, even when shown to be unwilling. But no tension would yet be shown between the longtime rivals turned friendly main roster co workers, as they were both attacked by Charlotte after the match, who is easily looking to reclaim her throne after having her streak broken by the pairs shenanigans hours before at Fast Lane. Little is known yet as to whether Nia Jax will have any inclusion in the match, as rumored weeks before as part of the set up. While that can be speculated on, the RAW Womens Champion took to Twitter to Hype her WrestleMania debut.

Tune into WrestleMania 33 Live on the WWE Network on Sunday April 2nd/Mon April 3rd at 1am UK Time, featuring the RAW Women’s Championship defense plus Alexa Bliss defends the Smackdown Women’s Championship against every available candidate on the Smackdown Women’s Roster, Chris Jericho defends the United States Championship against former friend and fellow former Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens and more.
