Beth Phoenix Officially Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 (March, 31st 2017)

Tonight played host to this years WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, and this years Ceremony brought along with it another woman to be inducted in honor of their accolades. Former WWE Womens Champion Beth Phoenix would take the honor this year, the first Divas Champion to be inducted and the first of the 2007+ era. The “Glamazon” as she came to be known throughout her WWE Career upon being presented as a Monster Heel and dominant force, was inducted by her Divas of Doom Tag Team Partner, Fellow Former Divas Champion Natalya.

In Her Speech, Phoenix credited her long tenured friendship with Natalya, while also giving thanks to Molly Holly for paying for her tuition, taking care of her and getting her into Ohio Valley Wrestling. She also credited the current women in the WWE from Dana Brooke to Sasha Banks and More, while also putting over her generation of women, name dropping the likes of Eve Torres, Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Katie Lea Burchill, Gail Kim amongst others, while also giving respect to Santino Marella who was a focal part of her career during the time of “Glamarella”. To Add, Phoenix credited the Late Chyna for Influencing Women Like Herself, for “Breaking Down Doors” by being the first female entrant into the WWE Royal Rumble that Phoenix and Awesome Kong followed up. Phoenix also gave an emotional thanks to her Husband Edge, who was in attendance for her official induction.

Various Women, from The Current to the Past Generation of WWE Womens Wrestlers, Gave Thanks to Phoenix Over Her Speech, Additionally sending Congratulations to the Former WWE Womens Champion.

Congratulations Go Out to Beth on her Deserving Induction into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017, joining fellow women Lita, Trish Stratus, Jacqueline amongst others. Other Members Inducted into the 2017 Hall of Fame Class include Kurt Angle, Teddy Long, DDP, The Rock N Roll Express and the Late Ravishing Rick Rude.
