Mickie James, Maryse and Alexa Bliss Are Drafted to Monday Night RAW (April, 10th 2017)

This weeks episode of Monday Night RAW was the beginning of a Two Day Superstar Shake Up, first announced on last weeks episode by Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon. The Said Shake Up would be an event similar to the WWE draft, with only a few names being traded between brands, including women’s superstars.

First revealed as an acquisition for RAW was Maryse, as she came to the brand alongside her husband the Miz, playing up her Total Bella’s parody with her real life husband to open this weeks RAW, cementing their spot on the brand also. The Duo were confronted by Dean Ambrose, as the Intercontinental Champion also found a place on RAW alongside his Former Shield Comrades Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Two more female acquisitions were brought to RAW later in the night in the form of also former comrades Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, who had severed ties weeks prior to the WrestleMania Women’s Championship Six Pack Challenge, which saw Bliss drop her second women’s championship to Naomi, unable to re-obtain it in her last ever Smackdown Match last week. As Sasha Banks was set to announce her shot at Bayleys RAW Women’s Championship, Bliss interrupted the duo to announce her place on the roster, interrupted by Mickie James who not only announced her position on the roster as well, but made clear her feud with Alexa was far from over. Bliss would be the one to narrowly escape a rampaging Nia Jax who emerged to take out Mickie as well as Sasha and Bayley, furthermore announcing her intentions to chase the RAW Women’s Championship.

Furthermore Nia reacted on Twitter to the news that her real life best friend would be joining the brand, while Mickie James also shared her own Joy at returning to RAW, the very brand where she won the Women’s Championship from Beth Phoenix. Maryse also shared the moment where herself and Miz would be back on the brand.

Congratulations go out to Mickie, Maryse and Alexa on their moves to the RAW Brand. Do You Think these women were the right call to be drafted to Monday Night RAW? Stay Tuned to the site to find out who Smackdown will acquire in the continuing “Superstar Shake Up”.
