Former IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Returns to the Company at Tonights Tapings (April, 20th 2017)
Tonight, IMPACT Wrestling Began its new set of tapings in a big way, with Karen Jarrett announcing the merge of IMPACT Wrestling with the Global Force Wrestling Company Herself and Jeff Jarrett had founded during tonights Semi-Live broadcast. This comes weeks after GFW Talent exploded onto the IMPACT Wrestling Scene such as Magnus and Kongo Kong, and now the Knockouts Division seems to have acquired GFWs first ever Women’s Champion, Christina Von Eerie.
Von Eerie worked for IMPACT Wrestling briefly before in 2011 under the name of Toxxin, working alongside Ink Inc during their feud with Mexican America. However Jesse Neal (one of Ink Inc’s members) left the company that same year, dissolving the unit and in turn Von Eerie would be released from the company as well. Christina then went on to represent the Global Force Wrestling Women’s Division by defeating Amber Gallows to become the inaugural champ, still holding the belt to this day, which she defended at tonights IMPACT Wrestling Tapings against Ava Storie (Brandi Lauren). Though yet to be official, it appears the Women’s Championship that Sienna had hinted at vying for may be the secondary women’s title on IMPACT, but again that is yet to be certain.
