Fatal Four Way Match for the NXT Women’s Championship Made for NXT Takeover Chicago (May, 3rd 2017)

As found out on this weeks episode of NXT, a heinous assault by the NXT Womens Champion Asuka has left a punishment in waiting for the dominant performer, as she would be notified by a fuming and furious NXT General Manager William Regal, who would additionally announce to the world that the attack would lead to her defending the NXT Womens Championship in another Fatal Four Way Match, this time against Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and the recently debuted Ruby Riot.

Asuka, who has surpassed Goldberg with her extensive undefeated record, nears to the 400 day mark since capturing the NXT Womens Championship from fan favorite Bayley last year, recently revealing her change in demeanor as to rely on dirty tactics to thwart her last contender Ember Moon’s chance to win the title. The intent use of the referee has fueled Ember more to go after her fated rival in an attempt to reclaim the title, while Nikki Cross is also no stranger to challenging for gold, having competed in the past fatal four way for Asuka’s title, which Asuka won by KO’ing Nikki’s fellow challenger Peyton Royce. Meanwhile Nikki Cross doesnt just get another chance to deal with Asuka, but to settle her issues with the recently debuted Ruby Riot, who aligned herself with Kassius Ohno, Roderick Strong and Tye Dillinger back at NXT Takeover Orlando to try and thwart Nikki’s Sanity Stable, to no avail as the power of their beastly Killian Dain laid waste to the Perfect Ten. Ruby’s continual disagreements with Sanity’s belief that people should conform to their ways has lead to the extension of their rivalry, and the two will meet in the ring officially in Chicago, this time as a part of the NXT Womens Title picture.

It Should be noted that there may be changes to this upcoming match due to a reported injury inflicted to Ember during the Battle Royal though yet to be addressed or confirmed. However, as we await any news, make sure regardless to tune into NXT Takeover Chicago on Saturday May 20th/Sun May 21st at 1am UK Time Live on the WWE Network to see which of these outstanding performers leave with the newly designed NXT Womens Championship.
