Womens Money In The Bank Ladder Match Set for WWE Money in the Bank (May, 30th 2017)

After rumors broke out over the past week, Smackdown Delivered the confirmation tonight, as a heated brawl between Welcoming Committee Members Tamina, Natalya and Carmella and Becky Lynch and Charlotte in what was meant to originally be a Women’s Five Way Elimination Match, allowed for Smackdowns Own GM Shane McMahon to deliver the news of the first ever Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, set to take place appropriately at the brands upcoming Money in the Bank Pay Per View.

The Fuse was lit between the unified force of Carmella, Natalya and Tamina and Inaugural Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and 4x RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte following the Backlash Pay Per View, which saw Nattie’s faction emerge victorious. Since then each woman has tried to clamor for rights to challenge the current Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi, and the breakdown of what was originally meant to be a five woman elimination match on tonight’s show lead to Shane McMahon giving each a chance to earn the contendership spot, as Becky, Charlotte, Natalya, Carmella and Tamina will battle each other in the Scottrade Center for a future chance at Naomi’s Smackdown Women’s Title.

Tune into Money in the Bank on Sunday June 18th Live on the WWE Network to see history being made as one of these leading ladies of the Smackdown Women’s Division becomes the first Women’s Money in the Bank Briefcase Holder, but the future number one contender to the Smackdown Women’s Title. Other matches include Randy Orton challenging Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship in a Backlash Rematch and Dolph Ziggler vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a future WWE Championship opportunity.
