Taryn Terrell Departs from IMPACT Wrestling (October, 21st 2017)

The List of departures of talent continues through 2017 for IMPACT Wrestling, adding recently returned Knockout (and former Knockouts Champion) Taryn Terrell to the list. The sudden departure of the former Knockouts Champion concludes her second run with IMPACT Wrestling overall.

Taryn, who made her return to IMPACT Wrestling at the Destination X Themed Episode of IMPACT back in August, was announced as no longer competing at Bound for Glory during last nights episode of IMPACT Wrestling on POP TV, selling the effects of a slap delivered from Gail Kim the week before as they continued their rivalry. Alongside Gail, Taryn was also a contender to the Knockouts Championship as was Allie at Bound for Glory, with the three women looking to dethrone the Current Champion Sienna at the event. Today IMPACT posted more on the developments with Taryn as promised following last nights episode, announcing that Taryn had come to a mutual agreement with the company to part ways to pursue outside career projects. With this news official, Sienna’s upcoming title defense in Ottawa at Bound for Glory currently stands as a triple threat match, with nothing stated at this time as to whether any other Knockout may be added.

Taryn also gave her own reaction following the news of her unexpected departure from the company on Twitter, thanking IMPACT for the career re-run nonetheless.

The News comes as a shock considering Taryn’s allocation as a championship contender, and expected final match with Gail Kim, as well as due to the departure happening close to the Bound for Glory Knockouts Championship Match. Nonetheless, i wish Taryn all the best in her future prospects and endeavors. You can watch her last match with IMPACT Wrestling below, from the Victory Road themed episode of IMPACT where she teamed with Knockouts Champion Sienna and the recently debuted Taya Valkyrie against former Knockouts Champions Allie, Gail Kim and Rosemary.
