Allie Departs from IMPACT Wrestling (March, 24th 2019)
Earlier this week, news broke that Former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Allie had signed with All Elite Wrestling. The news came after Allie was shown meeting with Brandi Rhodes, the Chief Brand Officer of the company in AEW’s latest video highlighting the continuing road to their Double or Nothing Pay Per View. Per PWInsider, Allie’s deal with IMPACT was not renewed, backed up on Braxton Sutter’s podcast, and she had not worked this weeks IMPACT Wrestling Tapings. Her storyline is expected to culminate next week in Rosemary’s return to the “Undead Realm”.

Allie began her IMPACT Wrestling Career in 2016, signing with the company after a few appearances and working as an assistant to then Knockout Maria Kanellis-Bennett. The torment lead by Maria lead to Allie’s transition into a babyface, with Allie obtaining her first Knockouts Championship during the feud. Allie also renewed her rivalry with Maria’s associate, Laurel Van Ness in late 2017 and into early 2018, winning her second Knockouts Championship from Laurel, who was departing the company at the time. Allie later split off from on and on screen partner Braxton Sutter, who had turned heel and aligned with the debuting Su Yung. After Braxton departed the company, Allie continued her feud with Su, dropping the Knockouts Championship to Su, who had also written Rosemary off IMPACT Television due to injury. Later on in 2018 saw Allie transition into a heel and join Su Yung under the possession of darkness, leading additionally to Rosemary’s return to the ring in 2019 and the next stage of the Rosemary, Su and Allie saga with Rosemary defeating Su’s team in a Six Knockout Tag Team Match to take back Allie from Su, with one of their most recent broadcasts showing Rosemary interrogate Allie’s darker half, though failing to break through in anyway to the former lovable Allie. This weeks broadcast saw Rosemary confront James Mitchell, with promises to return to the Undead Realm to Save Allie next week, which, again, is expected to be the culmination of Allie’s part in the storyline.
