WWE WRESTLEMANIA 35 PREDICTIONS: WrestleMania Womens Battle Royal, Fatal Four Way Womens Tag Team Championship Match and Winner Takes All Match for the Smackdown and RAW Womens Championship (April, 7th 2019)

UK Wise, the Day is Here! The Hall of Fame has concluded, and WrestleMania day has arrived. Its a big one as it is and bigger for women’s wrestling fans, as the evolution takes center stage in a big way with the first women’s wrestlemania main event. Headlining will be Ronda Rousey, the RAW Women’s Champion against Becky Lynch and Recently Crowned Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte in what will now be a Winner Takes All Contest. Plus we have the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal featuring a portion of the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Locker room (with surprises in store) and Bayley and Sasha Banks will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles on the Grandest Stage of Them All against the IIconics, Nia Jax and Tamina and Natalya and the Returning Beth Phoenix. So as we count down the hours until the biggest wrestling show of the weekend, im going to speak on who im picking to win the selected matches.

Beginning in clear chronological order, we have the women’s battle royal on the Kickoff Show. A Massive GROAN that this seems to be the only way to get Asuka on the card, and that the winner isn’t even guaranteed anything great afterwards, as we saw Naomi win that match, a trophy then get nothing major story wise after. But nonetheless we have a good number of women in this match, including notable names with notable accolades. I Feel Asuka may win this match to make up for her recent defeat, or Naomi to try and continue a WrestleMania streak that began two years ago when she won her 2nd Smackdown Women’s Title, but again im going to go with a swerve win like i did with Takeover (though it hadn’t happened) and say that Dana Brooke will prevail through injury and win the battle royal. Dana Brooke wins.

Next is the Fatal four way match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, titles that will be defended for the first time on a WrestleMania stage per this matches inclusion. Honestly, any team could win this match and id welcome a win for any opposing team, Nia and Tamina because Tamina has not yet had a WWE title, Natalya and Beth because we could see more of what this olden day duo could do as champions and because i don’t mind Beth being a champion again, that and shes never won a title at a WrestleMania, and the IIconics because im a huge fan of there’s and would love to see a team as equally passionate as the champs prevail. But with that being said, it still feels like a no brainer that WWE are relying on the champs as champions, to take their titles to NXT as well to work with lesser experienced teams there and that they see them as great and special in ring performers, though each of their opponents are skilled too. I feel its still a long term plan for Sasha and Bayley specifically to put on certain types of matches while carrying their titles around the brands, even though again the opposers in this match could do the same. But im going with a Sasha and Bayley win, not just for the mentioned reasons but because it dupes Sasha’s inability to retain further and gives her a win on the WrestleMania stage that she doesn’t really have in comparison to her ally. Sasha and Bayley win and thus, they retain.

And finally is our first time women’s main event and a high stakes one at that. In a Triple Threat Match, Both the Smackdown Women’s Championship and the RAW Women’s Championship are on the line, as Ronda Rousey (the RAW Women’s Champion) Becky Lynch and the Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte do battle. I Really do hate that the Smackdown Women’s Title had to be somehow added here to make it feel even bigger than what it already did, shafting the former champ to a battle royal, and should WWE have plans of unification after a winner is made, there’s no guarantee that the Smackdown Women’s Division will get their title back nor will they have anything to fight for as RAW prospers. Hopefully whoever wins this defends the championship on one brand and the other on the other. I am worried that they may have an angle booked that sees Stephanie McMahon not forget Becky Lynch’s attack to her weeks back and get involved to create a swerve ending, but there’s no way someone like Becky, who has so much fanfare, who has been built and propelled the way she has, should lose here. A Good portion of fans in and out of the arena are pulling for the authentic babyface tomorrow, wanting to see the villain Ronda Rousey finally be defeated, and for Charlotte to not take another WrestleMania win, if not her biggest. A Part of me is worried that Ronda’s UFC tendencies come into play and that if she doesn’t win, she will depart, and i truly hope that it isn’t true that the outcome depends on her contract aka her retaining over two other talented people just to keep her tenure going. I Respect Ronda for her passion towards wrestling and for the steps shes made, but i truly hope she doesn’t have any say in the outcome, nor should WWE beckon to her against the other superstars just to keep her reign going and losses for others coming. I’m Hoping so much for Becky Lynch to win for many reasons. No one else should win this but Becky Lynch or else, what was all that build for? To Make us mad in the end? I Hope not. I’m going with the ultimate moment of prevailing, with Becky Lynch winning.

WrestleMania 35 Comes to You LIVE Tonight at Midnight UK Time, with the Kickoff show beginning at 10pm. Other Matches include The Miz vs Shane McMahon and The Bar vs Ricochet and Aleister Black vs Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura vs The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship.
