Cattie’s Catch Up: Chelsea Green, Kongo Kong and KM vs Allie, Braxton Sutter and Mahabali Shera in a Six Person Mixed Tag Team Match at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary 2017 (July, 2nd 2017)

Welcome all to another Slammiversary themed throwback with IMPACTs next Pay Per View Slammiversary over a week away. Going back a few years, the 2017 show saw the women featured on three separate occasions, including on the pre show in the form of Six Person Mixed Tag Team Action as Mahabali Shera teamed with Braxton Sutter and Allie (AEW’s the Bunny and the Blade) against Chelsea Green (then Laurel Van Ness) KM (the kayfabe cousin of Sienna) and Kongo Kong.

As part of her first IMPACT run, Chelsea came into the company under the name of Laurel Van Ness, a rich girl type associate to Maria Kanellis Bennett who spent many months trying to make life hell for her former associate, Allie, including causing her to lose the Knockouts Championship. With Love blossoming between Allie and Braxton Sutter, Laurel was inserted into the equation, and a wedding was arranged that went topsy turvy for Maria when Braxton declined to marry Laurel, choosing Allie who ended her association with Maria also in the process. Maria and Laurel’s fellow associate Sienna (Allysin Kay) played a part in trying to sabotage Allie in Maria’s absence, summoning Kongo Kong to try and wreck Allie and Braxton Sutter. With Sienna later ending up in the title picture alongside Rosemary, Allie ended up in a Six Person Tag Match with Braxton and fellow IMPACT Star Mahabali Shera against KM, Kongo Kong and Chelsea, whose character had taken a drastic turn after losing Braxton to Allie, becoming a drunken and psychotic bride for several months. In the end, the babyfaces prevailed, starting the night off with some cheers with their pre show victory.
