WWE NXT: GREAT AMERICAN BASH PREDICTIONS: Eight Person Mixed Tag Team Match, Roxanne Perez vs Blair Davenport in a Weapons Wild Match and Thea Hail vs Tiffany Stratton in a Submission Match for the WWE NXT Womens Championship (July 30th 2023)
Welcome everyone to the NXT Great American Bash predictions, as the NXT brands latest Premium Live event lands tonight. Under a week ahead of Summerslam, the event sees three womens related matches go down, and with that said, along with it comes predictions, so, without further adieu…
The Kickoff show brings the action firstly, as Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz team with Nathan Frazer and Dragon Lee against “the Meta Four” Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Oro Mensah and Noam Dar. To me, the finish depends on the direction they are going. If they ultimately want to end the Dar/Frazer feud, then i can see Frazers side getting the win, but if this is about a successful in ring return for Dar, then i can see the Meta Four winning. Dar also winning wont take away from the expected highlight of a match we could get here considering the names included, but im going with the Meta Four winning, especially if they want to transition the Heritage Cup Championship back to Dar post absence. The Meta Four win.
Then its off to the main card, with the first of two womens matches being the Weapons Wild (No Holds Barred) Match between Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport. This is another bout that could go either way, because Roxanne hasnt had a massive win in a long time as shes somewhat simmered and cooled down since stepping out of the title picture. Then, theres Blair who hasnt really had a big singles win since her return either, so both are in need of momentum. Blair could win, but im going with Roxanne displaying her more vicious side and surprising and upsetting Blair here. Roxanne wins.
Then its over to the championship picture, in what i feel is one of the easier matches to call outcome wise. Could Thea shock the world? It cant be ruled out, so potentially. However, i feel this stipulation, it being a Submission Match, is solely for Tiffany to reveal more to her arsenal in order to overcome Thea and move forward to her next angle. Thea goes in with the upper hand due to submissions in her arsenal, but gets surprised in the end. Tiffany retains.
WWE NXT: Great American Bash takes place LIVE tonight at 1am UK Time on Peacock and the WWE Network. Other Matches include Gable Steveson vs Baron Corbin and Ilja Dragunov vs Carmelo Hayes for the WWE NXT Championship.
