Fatal Five Way Match for the WWE Womens World Championship Announced for WWE Crown Jewel (October 16th 2023)

As Announced on the Latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, the WWE Womens World Championship is Up for Grabs in a Major Way, as Current Champion Rhea Ripley will defend the championship against Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez and the recently returned Nia Jax in a Fatal Five Way Match at WWE Crown Jewel.

At Payback, Rhea defeated Raquel to maintain her hold on the championship, but tensions have further flared since. Former RAW Womens Champion Nia Jax also recently made her return to WWE, and targeted both Raquel and Rhea in the process, setting her sights on the gold. The damage from Nia’s attack was so much so that Rhea was missing in action for a number of weeks. However, Rhea eventually returned to resume the tensions. Shayna Baszler also had a crack at Rhea in singles competition, having broken off from Ronda Rousey Post Summerslam and capturing the attention and respect of another fellow contender, Zoey Stark. However, that match ended with no clear winner, as the result of a brawl featuring the women vying for the Judgment Day Members gold. With Chaos having ensued, Adam Pearce informed an enraged Rhea Ripley that she would be defending her championship against Shayna, Zoey, Nia and Raquel in Saudi Arabia.

WWE Crown Jewel takes place LIVE on Saturday 4th Nov at 6pm UK Time on Peacock and the WWE Network. Other Matches include Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
