WWE NXT VENGEANCE DAY PREDICTIONS: OTM vs the Family in a Mixed Tag Team Match and Roxanne Perez vs Lyra Valkyria for the WWE NXT Womens Championship (February 4th 2024)
Hello All and Happy Sunday as WWE brings on its next Premium Live Event, but this time with the NXT brand featured, as NXT Vengeance Day takes place tonight. The women are on the card on two separate occasions, from Jaida Parker siding with OTM in a Mixed Tag Team Match against the Family and Adrianna Rizzo to Roxanne Perez battling Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Womens Championship. With that said, im here to narrow down as to exactly who wins the said matches, so without further adieu..
First is the Mixed Tag Team Match, and like any Mixed Tag, it can go either way. The Family do need redemption, especially after OTMs sneak attack on them, but OTM also need to be potentially cemented as threatening future contenders, and while they do have Scrypts (Reggie) to be that sneaky assist and the fourth person in opposition to the Familys Three, Jaida now on OTMs side means they can show exactly what she brings to OTM and how she helps them achieve victory. I think this is about cementing OTM further more than about redemption, so im going with OTM and Jaida for the victory.
Then its onto the NXT Womens Championship Match, and still something that may have looked much more different had it not been for Cora’s unexpected injury. But you also have the compelling cases of Roxanne’s meaner streak along with Tatum Paxleys inclusion with her unpredictable persona and how that plays into the victory. Could Tatum cost Lyra? Could Roxanne’s meaner streak give her the edge needed to regain the title? Its all worth mentioning. Either Roxanne or Lyra could be cashed in on by Lola either way in the future, but right now, im going with Lyra to retain, especially because she has a due story with Tatum, and the title should be on her the moment that happens. Lyra retains.
WWE NXT Vengeance Day takes place LIVE tonight at 1am UK Time on Peacock and the WWE Network. Other Matches include Trick Williams vs Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship and Joe Gacy vs Dijak in a No DQ Match.
