NXT Womens WarGames Match Set to Take Place at WWE NXT Takeover WarGames III (October, 30th 2019)
This weeks NXT saw not only intense womens in ring action, but post match chaos turning hellacious as the aftermath of a womens tag team championship match saw Reigning NXT Womens Champion Shayna Baszler and her henchwomen invade to the chagrin of the defeated Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai, prompting for Rhea Ripley to step in and square off with the champion while other members of the womens division sparred around and outside the ring, including some who attempted to get in the way of the recently ascending Aussie Superstar. The exchanges on all sides came to a more than heated point, prompting also involvement from a furious William Regal, with the Head Man in Charge of the Black and Gold Brand instead containing these fighting women the only way now known, announcing that the latter will compete in the first ever NXT Womens WarGames Match.
Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley, who have been on a collision course since the first ever NXT UK Womens Champion resurfaced in the Florida Based Brand to confront the top woman of NXT herself, have been appointed, per CBS Sports, as the Team Captains for the latest first time ever match to happen in WWE history. While various women had got involved in the post title match chaos alongside Shayna and Rhea, that being the likes of Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and former tag title contenders Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox, it appears team mates for both sides have yet to be officially appointed, assumably up to the Team Captains themselves.
WWE NXT Takeover WarGames III Comes to You LIVE On Saturday, November 23rd/Sun Nov 24th at Midnight UK Time on the USA Network. Other Matches have yet to be announced.
