WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER PREDICTIONS: Womens Number One Contenders Elimination Chamber Match and Beth Phoenix and Edge vs Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor in a Mixed Tag Team Match (February 18th 2023)

Welcome all to this years WWE Elimination Chamber Pay Per View predictions, as the Pre WrestleMania event takes place this weekend from Canada. Im posting this early due to being at work late tomorrow and being at a wrestling event myself over the weekend, so its onto discussing the selective matches from this years card, two womens related matches in total so far. To decide the opponent of RAW Womens Champion Bianca Belair at the Grandest Stage of Them All, Asuka, Carmella, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya and Liv Morgan will duke it out inside the Elimination Chamber, and outside of that, long time feuding forces go to war as “the Grit Couple” Edge and Beth Phoenix take on the Judgment Days Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.

Firstly being discussed is the Womens Elimination Chamber Match. Now, unless someone gets taken out in the place of another, i feel like this is an easy call. Asuka is clearly looking more fearsome coming off her return in more Kana-esque fashion, and its obvious WWE are on a course to rebuilding her. I can see Natalya lasting long due to the event being in Canada, giving the home country girl a showing at least, but in the end, Bianca’s own home brand opposition, Asuka, takes the win, going on to face Bianca under her reformed self at WrestleMania. Asuka wins.

Secondly is another match with a likely easy call, and thats the Mixed Tag taking place on Saturday between Edge and Beth Phoenix and Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley of the Judgment Day. Sure, it could have been a singles match, but i have a feeling WWE wanted to protect both, especially because Beth has been on the receiving end of multiple Judgment Day related beatdowns over the past year, and Rhea is in need of protecting considering she has a major match at WrestleMania. Elimination Chamber wont be the end of the Judgment Day’s saga with their former leader, Edge, at least in my opinion. If the rumored Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania is to go ahead, then some sort of finish is creating that the end to end it all situation. Finn and Rhea win.

WWE Elimination Chamber takes place this Saturday 18th February/Sun Feb 19th at 1am UK Time on Peacock, the WWE Network and BT Sport Box Office. Other Matches include Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship and Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley.
