Your Monday Post #148: Naomi vs Alexa Bliss at WWE No Mercy 2016 (October, 9th 2016)
Welcome to a Very Late edition of Your Monday Post, courtesy of some last minute real life developments. However, ive had planned since earlier in the week exactly which match to showcase this week, one in real coordination with Naomi’s surprise championship win, jumping back to last years Smackdown Exclusive No Mercy Pay Per View when Naomi was a surprise opponent for the then hopeful contender to the title, Alexa Bliss.
Of course Bliss’s contendership would not be going to waste at the PPV despite the title wielding opponent Becky Lynch being unable to attend due to an unknown medical issue, thus she received an opponent on the night, in the form of an opponent who would go on to rattle her in the future with a load of pinfall victories, Naomi. Like recently, Naomi had pinned Bliss here also, but didnt have her contendership status solidified until her 2017 return.
